The name does not tip you off to this veg oasis. The Double Wide has a two page full veg & vegan menu. Even desserts special for the vegan crowd. My vegan gyro was amazing and my husband had a beg stroganoff that was super tasty. We will have to come back many times to eat all the great menu options.

Splurge Time! - Edit
This place has so many fun vegan and vegetarian options to choose from! But don’t think they’re the least bit healthy! These delicious creations and spins (like the vegan TV dinner I had) are slathered in savory sauces and served with fries. Yum!

I'm writing this review as I'm waiting for my food. I will update after I've eaten. I absolutely LOVE the service AND the fact that they have a vegan/vegetarian section on the menu. Vegan wings, tzatziki sauce, cheesesteak! Separate fryer for vegans! Vegan options clearly marked. Okay... stay tuned!
Read moreUpdate: EVERYTHING was delicious! I got the half portion vegan wings with hot sauce and vegan tzatziki. Yum! And the fries! And the seitan cheesesteak. I was in vegan heaven. Highly recommend!

On the way into Pittsburg we found this place. Was quite excited based on the options. Be careful when you come here. There are things listed as (V) for vegan but you MUST specify. The vegan burger was brought out with real cheese on it and French fries that we’re fried in the same fryer as meat. Apparently they have vegan fries as well but you must specify even though you are ordering from the vegan menu. The wings were just large chunks of seitan. The food was not bad but the experience was a little painful.

This place exceeded my expectations! They had a whole section of their menu for vegan/vegetarian options. The restaurant had a cozy sports bar feel to it.

Amazing variety, three pages of veggie options, with reassurances of separate fryer and cooking areas. Food was decent too. Well worth the trip.

I was surprised when I came here that there was an entire section of the menu with vegetarian/vegan options only. The food is good and I’ve been happy with it every time I’ve gone.
