Bio supermarket w/ bakery & café (not super vegan) - Edit
Full bio supermarket, vegetables, marmelade, noodles, beer, spices, chips, olive oil, etc.; bakery with quite 'eco' bread and some vegan cookies & croissants. Some meat, but mostly tofu substitutes, much packaged in plastics. Not an esoteric, yoga or old-school animal rights environment but more a professional branch of a bio supermarket.
Read moreSmall café with 8 seats inside and 8 seats outside and one "dish of the day". Located in the middle of a nice part of town with lotsa small (not fancy) stores. Subway & bus stop is 'Severinstrasse', 10 mins from central train station.
Across the street is an Italian ice 'cream' parlor with many vegan ice cream options. All down-to-earth, normal people, no fancy hipster stuff. Newspapers available, too.

Pros: Down-to-earth, small café, nice part of town
