Read moreThe lady who runs this chain of eateries is very nice. In being compelled to report the facts I thus regret to say that she does not have any understanding of the concept of veganism. Any dishes that are on the menu are vegan by coincidence rather than intent. Trust their attention to detail in reporting egg and dairy content in dishes at your own peril. For example that the menu indicates that some dishes contain egg implicitly implies that dishes without that symbol do not contain egg. Only take that to mean that the chef doesn't add egg to a dish. Do not take that to mean that any ingredients such as mock are egg free. Also the do not take to mean that there is a high level of rigour in the kitchen to protect against contamination of non vegan ingredients via the utensils they use in the kitchen.
When I went here there was barely anything that turned out to be vegan friendly when my friend and I asked them about this. With the obviously non existent understanding of veganism that they had, even that felt like something of a leap of faith.

Good and fast vegetarian cafe - Edit
A nice and fast vegetarian cafe. Manager is attentive and helpful. They have some western food. The Chinese set rice comes with a drink and soup. Good value. If you are a vegan, do check with them as the menu does not state the dishes that are vegan. They are most happy to cater to your needs.
