Nice option inbetween Nashville and Chattanooga

We were on our way from Nashville to Chattanooga and halfway you can find the Crescent Cafe. It's south of the Interstate, not in the centre of Monteagle which is north of the Interstate. There are some chairs and tables in front of the food trailer, the weather was ok, so we sat there having lunch. We had the bean soup, the tomato soup and the TLT (tofu, lettuce, tomato) and a hand-made juice. The owner was very friendly.
There's a rest room in the shop next to the trailer.

Pros: Friendly staff, Nice food

Cons: Outside seating only

Great Ragnar Stop!

I was driving through with my Ragnar relay team—all of whom are omnivores who were kind to accommodate me—and I was thrilled to find a nice place for a quick and inexpensive vegan lunch. In five minutes, I was back in my relay van with vegan chilly for this cold day and a tempeh wrap. Thank you!

Pros: Fast, Inexpensive , Delicious

Delicious food and kind staff!

My first time at Crescent, I had a barbecue wrap made with soy curls and WOW, it was amazing! I had never heard of soy curls before, so the owner was so thorough in explaining what exactly I was eating and even made sure her avocados were ripe before adding them and charging me. I just love this place! Be sure to stop by if you’re ever in the area.

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff

Lovely ladies! Great food.

Stopped for brunch and had awesome vegan wraps and soup. Lovely peaceful spot under the shade of the trees and two of the friendliest ladies you could hope to meet.
Mostly vegan food, will stop here again if we're ever passing.
