Serves meat, vegan options available. Turkish restaurant with a menu built around vegan cigkofte, which is made from bulgur wheat, tomato puree and spices. Owners know about veganism and offer dishes like cigkofte durum as a sandwich or on a platter with various salads. Also on offer and vegan are dolmades (wine leaves stuffed with rice) as well as lentil soup, plus sometimes additional weekly changing dishes. Vegan foods are not clearly labeled, so please ask. Nice snack, vegan option in Rüsselsheim - Edit
Rüsselsheim really does not have an abundance of vegan options, but Cigköfte23 is actually a pretty decent one. The shop is a bit hidden on the back side of a building so make sure to keep looking if you do not find it immediately.
Read moreThey make a great Cigköfte wrap, which comes with fresh salad and pomegranate sirup, which adds a really nice flavor to it. For 4.50EUR it is not extremely cheap but again, you do not have many other vegan options in this town and everything is prepared freshly and the taste is great. I have not tried their lentil soup or Dolmades, but the owners told me that they were vegan, too.
All in all this is a great place, in particular for catering for vegans in a not-so-vegan neighborhood.
