Food is wholesome and feels super healthy, very very tasty and the restaurant has a super cosy vibe, located on a street corner, you can watch the busy city life while enjoying your amazing food. They have wifi open. We went and enjoyed the food much we went back on our last day. They also have a great selection of sweet treats, including cakes and cookies.

The coffee cake with a pecan crust was outstanding! The vibe of this spot is great and I absolutely look forward to returning. As usual, leaves a bad taste when places with no table service, no dishes, and self-bussing hit you up for a 20%+ tip.

We used to frequent By Chloe all the time about 10 years ago. Once all the info came out about her company essentially being taken from her, we didn’t return. I saw recently that the meatball parm sub was back on the menu which was so exciting for us. That was our favorite menu item back in the day. Stopped in for lunch around 11:45 on a Tuesday. It was very busy and we waited for someone to leave to grab their table. We each ordered a meatball parm sub and we got a side of Mac n cheese with shiitake bacon which was our other favorite menu item back in the day. Food was really good and very nostalgic!

Cheery little cafe with casual options. Made for a good lunch date. Had the guac burger, tomato soup, and cupcake. The soup was the best tomato soup I’ve ever had and if there was an option to get a huge bowl, that’s what I would order next time.

Enough space to space out in, while the large central table offers an opportunity to meet and greet. The Tahini Brussels Sprouts had a pleasantly caramelized reduction while the Guac Burger features julienned tortillas, salted like fritos for a nice crunch.

🍟However, the sweet potato fries were some of the best ever! The chipotle aioli sauce was fantastic.
🍝I also sampled the Summer Corn Mac. If you’re looking for something truly “cheesy”, this is not it. But it was super creamy and the jalapeño pesto was a nice addition.

Not the best review, as I only tried the cookies here. Probably one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. The pumpkin and marshmallow was not a combination you ever see. The choc chunk and sea salt cookie was nice and soft with the right amount of sea salt!

Great cookies, less than stellar service - Edit
I’ll start by saying the 3 cookies I got were super tasty. I also got the cinnamon roll which was just okay. The service (at least for me and my family) was questionable. We were the 3rd group to order on a Saturday morning right at opening (only bakery items) and stood around for 10-15 min while others who came in after us got hot food AND bakery items (including items I was waiting on). When I asked about my order I was dismissed with a “it’s being worked on”. Miraculously my order was ready shortly after I expressed my displeasure to the rest of my party. Pretty disappointing. I don’t want to assign malice to the incident but it was pretty blatant. Probably won’t be back but the cookies were good.

I remember going to by Chloe back in 2015! This is the same spot and the food was just as good as it was back then, maybe even better! The burgers are tasty and it’s nice to have a solid veggie burger option that isn’t just impossible or beyond meat. The Mac and cheese with the shiitake bacon was perfect. And the cakes and cookies we tried were both so good! Also, happy they have wine and a fancy blood orange spritzer with prosecco too.

This was my first time here, so I got the crowd favorite, the spicy cashew crunch salad. It was pretty good! I loved the chili jam. The spicy cashew dressing reminded me of peanut sauce, but it was a bit too on the sweet side for me. I would have appreciated some extra spice as well, but this didn’t strike me as a spicy kind of place. I might try something else next time.

Chloe knocked it out of park!! I ordered a spicy cashew crunch salad and it was not only nutritious, but also REALLY tasty! My wife ordered a classic burger, which I stole a bite of when she wasn’t looking. It also tasted REALLY good. For dessert, I ordered a chocolate mocha cake and without exaggeration it was the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had as a vegan! Absolutely delicious! My wife ordered a salted chocolate chunk cookie. This time, I didn’t steal any of her food, but she said it was “perfectly baked: chewy, crispy, chocolatey, with a hint of salt.” #Veganuary

It’s a good lunch spot, went 10 minutes after opening and it was PACKED. It’s a super fast paced environment and I felt a little rushed at the counter so I ended up just ordering what the waitstaff recommended for a soup and salad. They recommended the kale and white bean soup which was pretty good, and the taco salad, which I thought was a basic option but I went for it anyway because I felt under pressure to order. It was also pretty good. I got the vanilla sprinkle cake which was very moist for a vegan cake (super sweet and sugary). Overall good food, the place is just a little hectic with everyone fighting over the seating.

A cinnamon roll walks into a bar ... and meets a pancake. And born was the cinnamon pancake! Tastes even better than it sounds. As for the restaurant -- nice ambiance -- light and bright. Ample seating. We went for brunch and happened to meet Chloe. She was delightful and in talking to a couple employees, they all love her. Highly recommended.
