It was really good but the happy our for the pisco was only for a non vegan pisco (wtf???) the vegan pisco was not included.
A bit weird for a restaurant that’s prizes itself for being one of the first vegan restaurants in Cuzco.

The Vegan Hamburger was almost inedible, and the seitan I couldn't even bite through. The Sushi was so bland and the presentation was awful.

I visited Chia Vegan on my first night in Cusco and liked it so much I returned a second time! Over my visits, I tried the chicharrones sandwich (made with breaded vegetables), tacos, a quinoa burger, quinotto, a pisco sour, and chicha morada. Most items were well-seasoned and flavorful, especially the chicharrones sandwich and the tacos. The only item I did not particularly enjoy was the quinoa burger, as the texture felt a bit off. I also loved the background music, which was filled with 80s classics!

We stopped by unexpectedly yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The prices were also very reasonable, offering great value for money.

I had the mint lemonade which was refreshing. The Andean sushi that was beautifully presented and made with quinoa and the pad Thai. All was very good. I ordered desert to go and they were very accommodating.

Original and amazing vegan recipes - Edit
I had the vegan chia salad and the Tacu Tacu … I am speechless on that one, it really is super tasty ! I had to order take away as the place was full and portions are really generous. I also had the advocado and cocoa mousse, that is stunning (rare to have vegan dessert that is not full of sugar to add the taste). My only negative comment would be the packaging as it was really only plastic.. but it is also not usual for them to have to taken away I guess. Will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu !

Many Thai dishes as well on the menu, for those looking for that. There seems to be a second (not at all vegan) Thai restaurant in the same space which was confusing.

Would definitely recommend this place as among the best vegan in Cusco.

Beautiful presentation, but the flavors just weren’t there for us. As we’ve had better vegan parilla nearby, we just felt very underwhelmed by Chia. Also worth noting they may share a kitchen with another restaurant they operate, which is Thai and includes meat on the menu.

Our meal wasn’t memorable enough to warrant a second visit (at least not anytime soon), but we enjoyed our meal! We ordered the appetizer sampler and the Tacu Tacu. My favorite item was the quinoa sushi on the appetizer sampler. The other items were too salty for my preferences.

We had an amazing dinner here, it also felt like we had a healthy meal, which we could use after a long trek (less fried food and more veggies & grains!). We had the homemade tortilla’s and something that was a pancake of mixed grains, quinoa and more - they were both very tasty! Very nice staff as well.
