tasty! - Edit
I had a veggie stuffed eggplant with a tahini dressing. It was quite good! Quick service and menu was also in English. outside is labeled as Verona Gradina and is set back from the street in a new big courtyard. gps is slightly off and is labeled on Google maps as Verona cafe.

Almost no vegan options - Edit
The only vegan options here where hummus and vegan sandwich. The sandwich is 3 times more expensive than any other sandwich you can buy.

Very poor service - Edit
I was refused service despite being told by the bar staff that the kitchen was still open. Had to escalate to a manager to get served. Sorry it was the end of your shift, buddy, but providing consistent & friendly service is apart of being professional.

feeling fancy! - Edit
Very upmarket place to go in the evening. Bill for one starter, two mains, water and one beer came to 97 lei, so very expensive for local standards but its.in the posh area and is very classy and popular with a relaxed atmosphere and outdoor seating. Interesting dishes like pear filled ravioli. Portions seemed a bit small on first glancr but it was acrually quite filling.

Cozy and relaxing! - Edit
I went here today for a lemonade with ginger .The atmosphere is beautiful and open-air and the staff is also friendly and rushed to assist.
Read moreThe menu is easy to understand and has vegan and vegetarian options for both food and drink, although the cafe is not entirely veg-based. Pricing is reasonable considering the location and I found it quite accessible.
Overall impression was very nice! Recommending for the atmosphere and serving.
Pros: great atmosphere, open-air, vegetarian and vegan options
Cons: very busy when full

Nice place unless you hate tobacco - Edit
I went to Verona to have dinner and was pleasantly surprised to find clear marking of vegan dishes in its menu. The prices are OK, around 4-5 euro per dish, but the portions aren't very large if you're hungry. The food was simple, nothing spectacular.
Read moreThe biggest obstacle to enjoy eating there was the fact they allow smoking inside. Many people on other tables didn't hesitate to have one cigarette after another, and the place was full of smoke. But I guess that is the norm in Bucharest...
Pros: good location, clear menu markings
Cons: not 100% vegan, smoking inside

Excellent place to eat and hang out at - Edit
We went there at night! Café Verona has a beautiful terrasse to enjoy dinner. So it is definetly a place to eat at during summer times (we did not eat inside). The menu offers vegetarian and vegan choices, wine, cocktails and sweets. We both had vegan pasta and a rice dish. It was very tasty! So a must for every vegan or vegetarian visitor!
