Definitely the best vegan restaurant in Bologna. It goes beyond the usual burger and bowl, tho they have them and are good, and they offer typical Italian dishes. Everything is very curated and the flavor profiles are on point. Can get crowded and noisy, so service can be a bit slow, but nothing major.

I strongly recommend the trianguli verdi, an exceptional combination of tastes. I tried the creme brullê dessert, which was quite nice. The staff were very friendly.

Semplicemente perfetto. È IL ristorante vegano per eccellenza. Ogni volta che torno a Bologna la tappa è d'obbligo, cerco sempre di scegliere una proposta diversa e ogni volta mi stupisco di quanto sia tutto buonissimo. Menù ampio e variegato per ogni tipo di esigenza. Il tutto condito da gentilezza e dolcezza dello staff. Bravi bravi bravi!

Fantastisch! Wunderbares Restaurant im Herzen Bolognas. Einfach zu finden, freundliche Bedienungen die Teilweise Englisch sprechen. Die Karte ist klein aber fein, sowohl Hauptspeisen als auch Dessert haben wunderbar geschmeckt. Entweder gleich zu beginn der Öffnungszeiten erscheinen oder Reservieren, da es ein eher kleines Restaurant ist.

I had the parmagiana and I was delicious. My friend had falafel, which was also good. it was her first vegan meal and she was impressed by the parmagiana. We had dessert, which was also delicious. The staff was very friendly. After paying California prices for vegan food for years, I was surprised how low our bill was.

But…. The drinks… I saw more or less only flavored water on the menu. Anyway, the staff is very unfriendly (or arrogant); we arrived a little bit earlier, and as we asked if it might be possible to take a seat outside before the restaurant opens, the answer was very rude. Another staff member asked us if we are aware that this is a vegan restaurant (Yes…).
Maybe the folks received too many positive ratings.

I thought the food was ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. I had the gnocchettini and my boyfriend had the Triangoli verdi and both lacked in salt. The desserts however were delicious.

The "Hugo" aperitivo was really good. Same goes for the "Natural Spritz", just the way it should be. Main dish was surely ok. We had "Green triangles" & "Parmigiana". Servings were not that huge though. Oh well, more space for the desert. The "Sweet of the day" was muffin, tasty and great presentation. Also the "Mascarponcino" tasted great. Location is top as well: right in the city center. Coffee: ok, nothing special.

It’s a very nice place with great service, good location and nice ambiance. I ordered the green gnocchi and was quite disappointed, especially considering pretty high price. The dumplings were well done - tender and not too heavy, but the sauce and garnish had no taste at all. Wine, coffee and desert (“mascarpone” thingy) were delicious though!

I enjoyed lunch in the restaurant. I really loved the gnocchi with a little side salad. The staff was super friendly and the food came quick. Good restaurant when you want to have a solid meal in the city center.

Food didn't meet our high expectations - Edit
We had a nice dinner at Botanica Lab but perhaps our expectations were too high as the prices were a bit higher and they presented their food as fusion on their website. The meals that we had did not really stand out but I guess there's nothing to go wrong with the buddha bowl we had. Baked potatoes were not very fresh, tasted like they had been made a day before and just heated up. My favourite italian dish: Melanzane parmiggiana were kind of dry and had very little tomato sauce. I have been making them at home in vegan version for years and with my fiancé we agreed that mine were better 😅. I would probably go again for the desserts. Both fruit cheesecake and masarponcino were outstanding! 💜

I primi come la parmigiana di melanzane e i triangoli verdi sono davvero buoni e gustosi, gli antipasti invece non ci sono proprio piaciuti. Il servizio pessimo. Calici di vino dimenticati, acqua frizzante invece della naturale richiesta. Alla domanda “qual è il dolce del giorno” che ovviamente era sul menu, la ragazza prima è andata in confusione, poi si è messa a ridere rispondendoci “ah no bo oggi mi sa che non c’è”. “Ok e quella al cioccolato cos’ha?” “Eh non lo so credo solo cioccolato”. Insomma molto preparati!

The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke english.
There was a small complimentary Soup (black lentils) in the Beginning which tasted really Good and was rich and creamy.
I had Ravioli with 'Ricotta', Cashew and Black Truffle in Olive Oil and Sage as well as a Chocolate Cheesecake.
The presentation was nice and it tasted Great.
The Portions were not big but filling enough and I left Happy, nourished and satisfied.
It is a little pricey to be honest- but the atmosphere and food are worth it.

I only had time to come here once, so I tried a few things. Homemade pasta was great as a starter, then parmigiana as a second plate and a nice dessert. Cheesecake with either chocolate or fruits. I had the chocolate one, which I loved.
