I arrived in Lido, super excited to have found a vegetarian/vegan restaurant on this tiny island. I came here on a Tuesday around lunchtime to see the restaurant owner opening up the shop, but he very rudely turned me away and told me they were closed on Tuesdays. Happy Cow and Google Maps said they're open everyday, but whatever. I came back two days later at 2:26 pm, and there were a couple seated customers. Again he turned me away! He said they close at 2:30 pm. I pointed out that it wasn't yet 2:30 (and HC and Google said they close at 3), but he very rudely said "Oh come on! Just leave." I explained to him he had been very rude to me on both occasions, and he yelled at me in front of his customers.

I'm not sure if he's racist (I'm Asian), a generally rude person or both, but a couple of the other reviews also mention his bad attitude.

If you don't want to give business to rude and possibly racist people, don't eat here! Go to Buddha Soul instead. It's a block away, has fantastic vegan and vegetarian options, and no [censored].

Would give 1 star, but Happy Cow
only lets you give a minimum of 2 stars to vegan restaurants.
