Lots of vegan options. Even the smoothies with yoghurt can be made on soy base.

Good! - Edit
Had 2 fresh coconuts, khao soi, morning glory, and ‘chicken’ satay. Honestly all were really good. Will come back

Also really liked the pad see ew, and ‘meat pieces’ in curry sauce (the one with the green beans). And the mixed mushroom stir fry is great if you feel like a bunch of mushrooms.

Yummy variety, fast service, great prices. - Edit
Loved the khao soi and went back another day to try the crispy papaya salad salad (a fun variation- be sure to stir a bit so the dressing soaks into the fried papaya!) I also tried a spicy minced tofu and protein- nice and spicy if you need a protein fix. I asked for a side of fresh cabbage leaves and scooped the mince into leaves before popping it into my mouth but you might like a side of rice with it instead. The salad and mince was very filling. Good portion sizes that could be shared if your are trying a few items. I’d definitely back!

Delicious food, lots of choice - Edit
Tried the Khao soi and it was great. Best tourist spice level I've found so far in Thailand. Everything was very fresh and fragrant. I would come back again.

Local food - economical and flavorful - Edit
This was a good local joint serving local cuisine. It's not a fully vegan place as it even serves eggs. I ordered Khao Soi and vegan chicken Satay.
Read moreKhao soi was really flavourful and good portion. Vegan chicken satay - I didn't enjoy it as much because the chicken alternative was quite chewey and lacked even basic flavor. I did love the condiments that it came with - peanut sauce and the chilli vinegar dip - they were so good. I could eat half of the chicken satay only because of the dips.
I also had a mango frappe - vegan and delightful as it was quite refreshing. Do visit the place as they had so many other options - very reasonable and serves local food. Also, a huge plus - they understand what vegan foods are. Good staff.
Pros: Economical, Good staff
Cons: not a 100 perc vegan

🇵🇸⚖️ Apartheid-free dining at great value! 🗝️🌏🇵🇸🇮🇹👩🏽🍼🇵🇸 - Edit
🇲🇲🇿🇦🇵🇸 ⚖️🗝️ Great place to hang out for a vegan meal if you're a solo diner and aren't looking for anything gourmet. The menu's varied - both the food and 🕌⚖️ soft drinks - and I've always left satisfied🔻⚖️ after coming here numerous 🇵🇸🇹🇭 times. I especially like the ⚖️ Chinese Kailaan leafy green vegetable lightly fried up with no-pork, and the other similar dishes at this clean and 🇵🇸🇲🇲🇵🇸🇪🇸 welcoming canteen/diner. There's a lot of other things on the menu if you like your food more cooked up. 🇻🇳🇵🇸🇵🇸🇮🇪 No condiments on the table, but the seasoning has always been - in my experience - spot on! ⚖️ Surah An-Nur (24:41): Did you not realise that the purity of Allah is proclaimed by all those in the heavens and the earth, and by the birds with their wings spread out? Everyone knows one's own (way of) praying (to Allah) and one's own (way of) proclaiming Allah's purity. And Allah knows well what they do.

Extensive menu - we struggled to choose. Food was a good portion size. Both from the lunch options with a soup, rice, and main dish. All delicious. Spicy wasn't very spicy.

Named vegan....but not all vegan - Edit
Uncomfortable that this place has Vegan in the name but lots of dishes are only vegetarian. Also, the vegan options were not all marked clearly. Had the crispy papaya salad and asked for "less spicy" but was still too hot to finish. Satay was quite plain. My partner had the mushroom duck which he said was fine but lacked flavour. Thai tea and pea flower lemonade were both great!! But disappointing they come in single-use plastic even when you eat in. Free popcorn if you write a Google review, but they wanted to see the review, take a photo of it, and then take a photo of us!! Wouldn't rush back.

Good mock meat, plenty of options - Edit
This restaurant offers many many options. The mock meats and tofu were very good, and we really enjoyed the food. The portions are a bit smaller than what we're used to. The prices are really good too.

Great array of vegan dishes - Edit
I loved their food and sampled four different dishes (see photos below). This is especially a good place if you like vegan mock meats. Definitely worth a visit.
Read moreOnly one downer - the excessive use of plastic for beverages. They have a part of their menu that shows photos of all the drinks. And photo of the mint w/soda showed a real glass, whereas most of the others showed plastic glasses. I ordered the mind w/soda and make explicit that I did not want a straw with my drink, in order to also minimize the use of unnecessary plastic. Much to my horror, it came without the straw, but in a plastic glass, with an obscenely unnecessary dome shaped plastic top that would normally be considered for take-out, but not in a sit down restaurant.
I expressed my concerns to the waitress and she said she would not charge me for it. Two days later I was walking by and walked in to confirm whether in the future, if someone came and asked for their drink to come in real glass and not plastic, whether they would accommodate that and they said they would. The owner was there and I talked to her about this and that they should not be using plastic for drinks because vegans care about animals and the environment. She said she would think about it - so when you go there, if you can make it clear you want your drink served in real glass, it may help steer them in the direction of only having plastic glasses for take out.

Mock Meat Chiang Mai - Edit
Visited here during Songkran and ordered the following:
Read moreStir fried vegan meat, tofu with holy basil
Vegan Pork North Eastern Salad
Massaman curry tofu (this was more like fried bean curd similar to what you get from a Chinese take away in the UK)
All three dishes were delicious, the service was quick and the atmosphere was wonderful as we could watch the Songkran festivities while eating
The massaman sauce could have been a tad thicker and richer (maybe just reduced more) but was very flavourful and on a scale of massamans I’d give it between a 6.5 or 7/10 - the tofu being fried was a decent element.

Depending on my remaining experience of food in Chiang Mai this is a strong contender for a revisit. 👀
Pros: Variety of mock meats, Diverse range of dishes, Portion size and affordability

Delicious food at good prices - Edit
Had a very large meal here on our last night in Chiang Mai. Everything was good, would happily return. Highly recommend the papaya salad and the soft tofu. The pad see ew was actually slightly underwhelming, so that remains the one dish I haven’t found an amazing version of anywhere in this country

Just okay - Edit
I had high hopes for this restaurant as a friend had recommended it but it was a little underwhelming. Maybe we are too spoilt by the amazing choices in Chiang Mai... I thought it was just okay. I was particularly interested by the boat noodles, as they are not readily available elsewhere, and they were pretty flavourful. The satay was disappointing; the meat was oily and the sauce was the wrong consistency. The fried chickpea tofu was soft and cold, rather than hot and crispy, and expensive for just a few pieces. I might go back for the boat noodles sometime but that's about it.

Große Auswahl an thailändischen Essen - Edit

Not great - Edit
Food was alright. Small ish portions. I wanted the curry but had to order a full set. Didn't like the soup and the rice was old I think. Curry wasn't great either. I would skip. It was cheap but very small portions.
