Wonderful Organic Store

All items are clearly marked as vegan, which is beyond helpful when one is new to learning the German language. Has everything need for an house/apartment- from ingredients to cleaning supplies to wine. There is a bakery/sandwich storefront for quick easy meals. Prices may be higher on some items (due to everything being bio/organic) though I find the prices not that more expensive than other large supermarket chains. Well worth coming here for healthier food and non- chemical/environmentally friendly options for cleaning supplies and hygiene products.

Pros: Vegan items clearly marked, Carries chemical free products , Easy to find ( near train stops)

Cons: some may consider prices slightly higher

great supermarket with bakery

a great selection in this store and all well priced. the bakery does nice bread and a few snack options with limited hot food.

Good but expensive

Basic offers basically everything you need to cook with as a vegan. It also has a lot of pre-made food or snack-foods that you don't have to cook. :} However, as it only sells organic food, it's very expensive (which is understandable). :/
The staff is usually friendly and the stores are well organised so you can find everything you need really quickly. The Basic stores I know of are all really easy to reach via train. :)

thursday lunch

On thursdays I always buy my vegan lunch at the bistro and I have to say that both the sandwiches and the foods offered at the self-service bar taste really good eventhough they are a little bit pricey, but they have to be because it's organic and freshly prepared. The stuff can be nice but sometimes

Pros: tasty, wide range of products

Cons: few vegan sandwiches
