I went here for date night. The food was good but definitely overpriced. I think it’s definitely worth it as a cocktail spot and as a date night spot, we enjoyed everything. I would love to try brunch next time I’m in town

The perfect dinner spot - Edit
I found this place online before heading out to Ottawa for a much-needed weekend getaway, and we booked a dinner reservation. Everything looked amazing but my friend was on the fence at first. Luckily I followed through with my instinct, because this was hella worth it. The food was amazing and the service was the same.
Read moreWe had the arancini and the meze platter for apps, and the gnocchi and risotto for our meals, complete with a couple of mocktails and a cheesecake for dessert. The highlights for me were the arancini and the risotto. The others were great, but these 2 were incredibly tasty and beautifully plated.
I would most definitely go again.

Vegan gem in the NCR! We went for happy hour imagining it would be small plates for the price. We were wrong and the portions were huge! We had the kimchi fries and the poutine, both delicious.

Nice vegan food with a lot of whole food dishes to choose from. Definitely chef-inspired with well thought out flavor profiles. Pricey, so good for special occasions. Also, cafe / bakery attached with delicious baked goods and take-out salads etc.

I had the risotto with "scallops", very beautiful presentation, with little blue flowers decorating. A cocktail, and they used fleurs de sel to rim it, rather than plain salt. And a gorgeous little lemon tart, with meringue, plate beautifully decorated with coulis and more meringue.

Nicely decorated with a good sized menu featuring lots of options. We came on the weekend so got to take advantage of the brunch menu too. Kid friendly with a kids menu, and a nice takeaway counter including a fridge and freezer section for things for home. Would recommend!

This busy place is in my top 10 best vegan restaurants worldwide. The food choices and quality, ambience, and service were all top notch. We ate here for brunch and liked it so much we brought a group of nine a few days later and tried almost everything on the menu. All choices were fabulous; the Florentine Benedict was my favorite. No problem swapping a fruit salad for the seitan 'ham'. A separate café is attached to the restaurant. Great to see this place doing so well!

Food was great and the large restaurant was very busy so make a reservation if going at a time that might be busy. We had the kimchi fries with cheese curds which was amazing and a huge portion. We also had a pizza and gnocchi which we took home a lot of because of the fries! The pizza had a bechamel sauce and the gnocchi were perfect.

The food was phenomenal. The service, exceptional. You can tell the food is made with love. I had the taco salad, but also tried the green curry. Brunch is served until 2pm. Highly recommend trying this place.

The dishes were well presented. The flavours of the dishes we ordered were well-balanced. The prices were quite affordable if you consider the fact that fast-food costs about the same price.
Read moreThe kimshi poutine was spicy as kimshi is suppose to be. It was not spicy enough to entice me to drink the pitcher of water the waitress had in hand. It was not greasy like non-vegan poutines are. Fhe fries were just crisp; the skin of the fry is crisp while the inside is soft. The vegan cheese used suprised me as it was not to soft but not too hard as some feta false cheeses are.
The mushroom pizza was perfectly presented. There were not too much mushrooms but not too little. The cheese was not greasy as some cheeses do on frozen Daiya pizzas. The crust was perfectly baked. The outer layer of the crust was baked to bee crispy on the outside and soft enough to be enjoyable.

Read more- jackfruit poutine: alright taste-wise but not "gloopy" enough and the cheese was weird, just little cubes
- red pepper gnocchi: really good, several people's favorite
- tomato soup: decent, some said they liked the taste but I was indifferent
- black bean burger: again, OK but nothing special
Service:
The waitress made several comments that struck us all as subtly rude, including "explaining" to us that this was VEGAN cheese in the poutine so of course it looks like that and doesn't melt. Tried to up charge us for the tomato soup when I had ordered it as a side and not an entree, then argued with us when we pointed that out.

This restaurant is pure vegan perfection. The menu is so varied and has so many options that it made it hard to choose what to get. We tried the kimchi fries, jalapeño popper grilled cheese, and Seoul noodles. All were delicious. For dessert we tried the lemon meringue which had a ton of fresh fruit and toppings alongside the tart. Our server was so sweet and helpful with choosing from the menu and picking cocktails. We also got a pistachio croissant for the road after our meal and it was unbelievable--actually wish I got 4 to bring back home to stick in the freezer!
