So many vegan options! - Edit
Try the dosa and the layered bread. Absolutely amazing. (But what would you expect from fried batter in oil?)
Read moreThe food was overall really good with so many vegan options we could barely choose. Staff was super nice and all mains came with rice.
The only downside was that the food was generally too salty.
Pros: Lots of vegan options (bread!), Nice restaurant , Nice staff
Cons: Too salty

Awesome Indian - Edit
Yummy Indian food, nice place to sit and very helpful and attentive staff who explained that all the vegetarian options could be made vegan. Nothing was too much trouble, one of the best places we’ve eaten in NZ. We shared a Cauliflower starter, which was a generous portion of spiced, fried veg and then we had a Chana masala and vegetable dosa which we each had some of. All a delight and lovely that you get rice with all your curry mains.

Great options. Yum. - Edit
We got so much food here. Masala dose, cauliflower 65, vege korma, savory pancake. Was all really delicious. They gave us an alternative dairy free dipping sauce for the 65 and dosa. Was all very good. Kids were happy too. They sell spirits too so had a midori lemonade for nostalgia. Really recommend this place for a nice dinner.

Delicious South Indian food - Edit
Very friendly staff. They had 2 starters, 3 mains and 2 breads that were or could be made vegan. I had the dhal makhani and the kallappam. Both come highly recommended. 5% discount also for takeaway. Will definitely be back here when next in New Plymouth.

I went back to eat in last weekend. Enjoyed it again. Very friendly service although the waiter didn't seem to understand the difference between vegan and gluten free. Still a place I would go back to.

You might want to marry the chef after tonight! - Edit
Oh baby the vegetarian banquet was fully worth it - my friend and I asked to have vegan options for roti and the curries and they were more than happy to accommodate. Sooooo good.

Yum! - Edit
Great atmosphere, service and delicious food! The waiter informed me that all options can be made vegan except for those featuring paneer. All of our dishes were coconut based and I got the vege korma. We will definitely be back.

Amazing and authentic - Edit
To be completely honest, I didn't have high hopes because I've never had a decent Indian since coming here in February! The menu is next level. It's not your run of the mill menu - every dish has a description and is clearly marked as vegetarian or vegan option available. There are so many vegan options to choose from as mains, starters, breads and sides. You can specify the best you prefer which is good, the 'medium' was delicious with a kick. You must try the Dosas (the chef's speciality) and the breads. So good. Great service, great value. Will be heading back for sure.
