Recently went to try alternative plate for the first time with a group of 7. The owner is extremely friendly & accommodating especially being that we called last minute and had a large group. He was happy to have us, restaurant itself is smaller but very cozy. Owner is a wonderful guy and a phenomenal cook, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Considering he had to prepare all of our food on top of the to-go orders they had coming in, we were served pretty quickly to our surprise which was also nice and impressive. Highly recommend trying this spot, I personally tried the Mac Attack and the portion was plentiful I left very satisfied.

I’ve had 4 dishes here, an eggplant pizza, the mac and cheese, the reuben and the french toast. They were all equally delicious and generous portions. I can’t wot to try more of this food. The owner is very friendly and gave us samples of stuff he was working on. He’s a talented vegan chef. Go visit this place. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s dangerous that I live right around the corner from this place. I’ve never ordered anything that wasn’t delicious. You can’t go wrong! Loaded pork roll sandwich is a must, the French toast is amazing, and any pasta special Chef Pete makes is the bomb dot com.

Friendly staff, delicious food - Edit
While ordering over the phone, the waitress explained that everything is homemade and she recommended some of her favorite dishes. We tried the Buffalo pizza and although it would have been great with some vegan ranch, we were not disappointed! We will definitely return to try some new dishes!

Food is delicious. Only eat here when you are ready to feel heavy afterwards bc every Time I do. Owner is such a cool guy and very kind every time I go he is thee to chat. Sometimes the service takes a while seems as if the owner is a one man show unless he has a cashier sometimes, but he does a great job making amazing vegan alternative meals. Comfy inside too cool decor. Not the healthiest foods, but still taste great

Got the sandwich with "pork roll" to go. Pretty bland. The guys yelling in the kitchen were a turnoff. I'm interested in trying this place again, but many of the menu items seem to have incongruous or unnecessary ingredients, and something about it makes me not want to take a risk.

My spouse and I decided to check out this restaurant today. He does enjoy meat dishes, although we are primarily meat-free. The owner/chef assured him that he would love the vegan "meats" and vegan "eggs". I had the Reuben. Both of us were blown away by the flavors in these (usually heavily grilled and fatted!) dishes. The flavors were balanced, spices lovely and ingredients fresh. The owner/chef was so skilled in his knowledge of how to create vegan products to be as satisfying texturally and taste-wise to the "real thing". He is proud of and excited about his menu and..........we are too !! Make sure to visit.

Plus the gal at the counter was super bien and I love that there are local artists on the walls.

My life will forever be divided into two periods: Before I had Peter's eggplant parm pizza, and after. Eating this pizza for the first time felt akin to reading a beautiful poem, watching a perfect documentary, or experiencing any other form of art that makes you feel... just... wow. Vegan asterisk aside, everyone needs to pay this spot a visit. You'll be happy you did.

I just discovered this place and I’m very excited. I had pork roll for the first time! Lots of different plant based meats and cheeses. I had the pork roll sandwich. So great. The bread they use is delicious too. My boyfriend had the Mac Attack mac and cheese which was also moist and cheesey and extra good with salsa and avocado. They have a GF menu as well. The owners are super nice and the service is great.

Really good vegan food! They make most of their foods from scratch. Everything is delicious, but my favorites are: gyro, potato salad, chorizo and sofrito pizza, and the Mac and cheese. Also offers smoothies and green tea.
