Inexpensive Vegetarian food with good flavours

Adam Taste is a very spacious, comfortable cafe.. I guess it is a tradeoff – you can have a much bigger area in a place with relatively low footfall. Still relatively uncrowded since it is only been opened for 2 weeks now (Oct 2015). The servers all seem to be kids of the couple who owned the place; they all seem a little stressed out by the kitchen’s operations but helpful nonetheless!

The menu is also relatively limited at the moment – only hotpot, nasi lemak, spaghetti, baked rice with drinks and fresh juices (not cold-pressed in case you are wondering). The food is pretty good quality though. We shared the Hot Pot and Nasi Lemak.

Good Wanton Mee

The wanton me, I thought, was really good - pretty authentic from what I remember it to taste like and really yummy (it is not the healthiest however)

Staff are very aware of which items are vegan and were very friendly!

Pros: Friendly Staff, Good food

Cons: Limited vegan options

Average

Not many healthy vegan options. Opted for the salad but was small and not filling. Passion fruit sorbet is vegan. but with Brownice next door its better to get dessert there.

Pros: Part of No Pesticides Movement, Large open space

Cons: Limited menu, especially for vegans

Reasonable priced, good quality food

Finally there is a place for lunch around the corner. The food is really good and not oily! Use Egg in some dishes, but staff asks...

Pros: Food quality, Reasonable priced

Cons: limited menu
