Vegan karaage - Edit
Lovely staff, great atmosphere! The owner has her own recipe for the karaage chicken and prepares it herself. The texture of the “meat” was incredible and super moist. The batter on the karaage was super light and crisp,
Read morebetween the two of us, we shared:
- 1 salad tasting plate
- 2 serves of karaage mayo
- 1 serve edamame
- 1 serve gyoza
Do not underestimate the tofu salad, it is so creamy, and the Japanese leeks compliment the silken tofu perfectly.

Vegan izakaya experience - Edit
Great place with good vibes and spectacular izakaya food, especially the karaage and the potato salad. So great to be able to try karaage as a vegan in Japan, and is was so crispy and juicy, we kept ordering more. Nice sake too. Definitely a spot to return to on our next Tokyo visit.

Leckeres veganes Izakaya - Edit

Also ich würde sagen, kann man machen, wenn man gerade vom Sky Tower kommt, aber out of my way würde ich dafür nichr gehen.

Okay Food, okayish service - Edit
The food was not bad, but also no revelation. I find it quite pricey for the portions you are getting especially compared to other places we went to. Furthermore we had to wait 30 minutes, which I have no problem with, but were then told that some of the main dishes were not available anymore. I think it would be nice if this would be said before signing up for the queue (especially because there was only a pair in front of us, so not a huge queue), or at least give a short warning like „hey we are short on xyz, it could be that it is sold out until you can order.“

Vegan izakaya - Edit
Great food, great vibes. We ended up ordering almost half the menu and everything was super tasty, but the highlight of the evening was the leek and tofu dish from the salad section of the menu! All in all, a truly amazing place.

Something Different - Edit
I had never been to an Izakaya so just wanted the experience even if it was by myself. The table charge of 400 yen was expensive for one person (although I didn't have to share the cabbage salad with anyone else) and I was seated at the bar. I had the yuzu kosho gyoza and the ham katsu. Both were so good I don't think I'd find them elsewhere.

Cosy little restaurant - Edit
The food was really good here, fully vegan. We had gyozas, two different types of karaage and some rice. They also give you a tasting plate at the start which for us was cabbage in soy sauce. The place itself is very small but so cute and cosy. Loved it!

We just came for the food, and everything was super good:
Read moreGyoza super good; cutlet very tasty. Karagee also good but a little inconvenient to eat as it is just a big fried blob.
Matcha Soymilk and Apple Juice were also super good.
Have seats on two levels. Bathroom only accessible via steep staircase.
Side street has great views of Skytree.

Update (Dec 2025)
Read moreWent back and I think they really stepped up their game since we first went (they were newly opened).
Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. The kaarage with mayo, pickles, and cabbage were particularly good
===========
In an area without a lot of obvious vegan options (especially on Wed., when many seem to be closed), this was a nice find.
My partner would give it five stars but I'm taking a star off because it was a touch pricey (by Japan standards), each person has to order a drink, and I found most dishes to be a little salty for my taste. I would still go back though , and I recommend it if you're in the area.
Edit - The music was also fun and it was a good atmosphere in general
