Best variety of plant-based options in Pagosa - Edit
Joining the chorus of Happy Cowfolk pleased to see Mee Hmong resurrected, especially considering the slim pickin's for herbivores elsewhere in Pagosa. Though Mee Hmong is still a mostly meat-focused establishment, there are enough vegan or veganizable items on the menu to please most plant-eating patrons. And, yes, their sauces are very tasty, and several of their dishes give you multiple sauce options so you can choose your fave. We're particularly fond of the peanut sauce.
Read moreThe main downside here (besides serving meat) is ecological: the utensils are "disposable" plastic, even when dining in. You might consider doing what we enjoy doing: bring your own take-out containers and utensils and have a picnic.
Pros: Several vegan options, tasty sauces
Cons: Serves meat, plastic utensils

Great healthy options - Edit
So happy Mee's is back in Pagosa! I've been a customer since they were in a food truck, across three brick-and-mortar locations. I love, love, love the "nourish bowl" (formerly the Buddha bowl). It's a perfect combo of quinoa, tofu, fresh vegetables and delicious sauce. I also like the holy basil tofu quite a lot. Don't sleep on the lunch specials, as you also get a yummy fresh spring roll stuffed with fresh veg along with a plate of holy basil tofu and rice. Mee's sauces are incredible -- especially the spicy peanut sauce.

They’re back at a new location!! Yea!!! - Edit
Husband and I have been vegan for 33 years and we were heartbroken when this business closed down during Covid. We are beyond happy to find that it has reopened at a NEW location! All dishes that are vegan are clearly marked. Made to order!

Incredibly flavorful, delicious, and healthy. We got the nourish bowls and the skinny menee rolls. They were both delectable!
