We ate here twice during our stay. The first time I had the giant beans with vegan feta which was nice but very rich. I feel it would have been nice served with some fresh green vegetables or potatoes to break up the richness a bit. For dessert I had baklava which happened to be vegan when served without ice cream. This was delicious and would have been even better served with some vegan ice cream.
Read moreOn the second visit I had Gemista. This was delicious and came served with boiled potatoes and the most amazing hummus. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the fact that I was served 2 peppers instead of a tomato which I'd really been looking forward to 😅
The staff were friendly and accommodating, even finding space inside for all customers when it started raining.

3 Pigs Introduced me to Stifado - Edit
Very accommodating and lovely staff - all the bells and whistles when it comes to service which is wonderful.
Read moreOn the table we ordered the hummus and pita - unreal.
We also got the courgette fritters and the Vegetable fritters (pitaroudia) and both were as good as fritters get.
I ordered the Vegetable Souvlaki which as you might imagine - was essentially grilled veg on a skewer with some extras.
My partner had the greek salad which came with vegan Feta which was lovely.
The real winner was the Vegan Stifado. Warming and rich - this went down a treat with my party.

Mains …. My daughter had the tomato spaghetti pasta which she enjoyed and I ordered the vegan moussaka .
Unfortunately it was swimming in oil…and I couldn’t eat it. It tasted like there was only béchamel with oil and vegetables. I couldn’t taste any red sauce at all. But again the staff are lovely and we enjoyed the visit….i would be interested in trying something else vegan next time! Wish I’d have gone for the giant bean dish…maybe less oil in that.
Thanks for offering a vegan menu….but maybe go easy on the oil in the moussaka!

Wer gerne tradiotionelle Griechische Gerichte in vegan genießen möchte, ist bei 3 Pigs genau richtig. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an veganen Optionen. Best options in Pefkos - Edit
They really have made an effort with a dedicated veg/vegan menu of a decent range of classic Greek dishes, not just a burger like many other places. The moussaka and stifado are especially delicious.

The staff are lovely, the restaurant has a cool traditional but modern feel and the prices are really quite reasonable for this day and age.
To think we nearly passed by just because the name conjures bbq vibes, lucky we didn't.

Lovely greetings from all three waiting waiting staff, never had a gluten free vegan before and they went all out and provided a great meal, a gluten free starter platter and a special vegan gluten free fruit desert which was whipped up just for me was lovely, the other two vegetarians were well catered for and all nine of us had a superb time…thankyou..highly recommended..

We went down to 3 pigs since it was recommended here. They had a few vegan options which all sounded really delicious. After ordering we got some delicious apatizers of the house, they even brought something else that was totally vegan for me so I could also enjoy some apatizers.
Read moreWhen the food came it first looked like they used real cheese; the texture and how it was melted really looked like real cheese - but it wasn't at all. It was delicious vegan cheese. I have a pretty severe milk and egg allergy, so I would have known within 5 min if it would be real cheese. It tasted and looked delicious, especially as vegan cheese.
After dinner they got us some more apetizers from the house, and by checking the restaurant, everyone got some apatizers. They really take care of you and know the difference between vegan and not vegan. I can only recommend this place and the staff as well, they were very lovely and really tries to take care of their guests.
There were also some regular holiday customers who come here every year. They know them by name and they really love this place as well.

We opted for 3 pigs after searching the menus on the pefkos strip and were excited to see traditional Greek dishes. The nibbles before and watermelon were nice touches. The food was nice but a bit on the oily side and mine and my partners’ vegan moussakas tasted entirely different. Still a nice experience and happy to see vegan options so available.

Meeting up with family in Pefki and wanting a vegan menu restaurant wasn't hard at all, after searching on happy cow for local restaurants 3pigs came up and was a 2 minute walk from where my family was staying... Bonus.
Read moreWe arrived at 6pm, and as it had just opened we were the only folk in there but after an hour or so it was getting busy.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the seating area was clean and nice, however the faux leather seating got a bit sweaty....
After 5mins or so they came out with olives, breads, garlic dips, sun-dried tomatoes, butters, and other nibbles(all home made and vegan) on the house.
The food was great, I had the falafel dish, it was very filling, I left half a falafel as they were burger size.
My wife had the vegan moussaka and that was nice and very filling.
My youngest had the napoletanna and finished it all.....
We tried each others dishes as there was 10 of us and they were all tasty and fresh.
Would definitely go back when back in Pefki Rhodes...

They had separate vegan, vegetarian and gluten free menus, so many options I found it hard to choose what vegan dish to have, went with the roast vegetable sewer it tasted really good. Lots of good meat options for the rest of my family as well, good selection of drinks and cocktails, and reasonably priced food. I had a passion fruit caipiroska cocktail which was very nice.
Read moreWhen we arrived it was pretty quiet so the service was quick, we were served complimentary bread, by the time we left it was almost full with people queuing at the entrance, so I’d recommend going earlier or reserving a table for later for bigger groups. We all really enjoyed our meal, would definitely go back here!

After reading previous reviews we travelled from Lindos to pefkos to try this restaurant and wasn’t disappointed. The vegan moussaka was sensational, they had a separate vegan menu which had a really good selection. Not many places have a separate vegan menu and the staff were lovley, they kept checking in on how the food and drinks were and could tell they took pride in trying to create authentic vegan Greek food. Would definitely recommend!

Three Pigs in Pefkos Rhodes - Edit
We nearly didn’t look at this place because of the name! That would have been a mistake…apparently, the lady who owns the place always loved the story of the three little pigs so named her restaurant after it! We were staying near Lindos and had a hard time finding vegan food that was reasonably priced. We actually caught a bus four times to get to this restaurant in Pefkos/Pefki as we really enjoyed ourselves on our first visit. Everyone working there was so friendly from the first minute and there was a lovely family friendly vibe…even had a little playground at the back….but was quiet enough for couples too. What caught our eye was that they had three separate menus ….vegan, vegetarian and normal….and they asked which one you would like to see so it meant we didn’t have to search for something suitable. The food was tasty and very filling…typical Greek food full of lovely vegetables. A nice surprise was that we had a board of homemade bread, hummus, chilli jam and olives bought to us while we waited….all was delicious and at the end of the meal a plate of watermelon to share. I asked about desserts even though I couldn’t eat one and was told they have a vegan Baclava using orange nectar instead of honey but on our last visit we were given a lovely vegan chocolate cake to share.

Very nice restaurant, great table service, friendly staff and most importantly delicious vegan food! There is a seperate vegan menu with some great choices (photo included) – I had hummus and pitta to start, and the souvlaki for my main which came with chips. All tasted great, I’m sure we will be going back here during our stay in Pefkos!
