Okay - Edit
The garlic fries are always fresh, the service is easy and quick. There multiple vegan options that exceed the ,,fries and ketchup“ option

vegane Currywurst - Edit

Somehow a bit worse than other branches - Edit
The quality of Frittenwerk is usually very similar no matter the location, but this one is somehow not as good as the others. The fries arent as crispy and a bit mushy. There was way too much sauce on it and the fries werent fully done either. Service also took Kind of long, so I might have had bad luck and got there right as they ran out of readily made fries.

Quite large - Edit
Relatively large space inside of main train station building hall. Some vegan options, including currywurst. Could easily go full vegan. Bottled lemonades. Fries are good. Vegetarian can be veganized, so in total five vegan dishes. "Bolo fries" n/a any more it seems.

so much waste - Edit
you can eat in or choose takeaway. they have reusable cups (vytal -> you need an app and only have limited time to bring the cups/containers back). however, if you eat in, you get single-use plates etc.?! i understand that they are a fries shop and these usually use paper plates but this produces so much waste and makes 0 sense.
Read morehowever, i chose the one vegan salad bowl they had (rainbow bowl, 10,60€). it was medium sized i'd say and made with quinoa, salad mix, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, pink hummus, 3 falafel and a vinaigrette dressing.
i asked beforehand if the tomatoes could be omitted and was told no, that's not possible because everything is prearranged or so. something i found very weird cause i thought they'd prepare it more or less freshly. nevermind, the bowl is really nothing for people who don't like tomatoes! (in this case, go to haferkater)
despite that, they have some clearly labelled vegan options, maybe 50% of the menu. you can substitute 50ct with one of these bons you get when entering the restrooms

Pros: vegan options, clearly labelled

Frittenwerk will always be Nr1 - Edit
I’m a love with Frittenwerk and I can proudly say that I have visited all their restaurants in Düsseldorf (and a foodtruck).
Read moreYou can always count on the same awesome quality and fast service.
The many vegan options are the cherry on top.
Of course I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t criticise the fact they still sell and profit from animal exploitation, however they have been on the forefront of the vegan revolution and they have had the Bolofritten on the menu before it was cool. For that I appreciate them.

Ganz lecker - Edit

Delicious fries creations - Edit
Located in the middle of the main station, you can eat vegan quickly and easily here. The vegan dishes, of which there are several, are clearly marked. There are also vegan specials from now and then, like currently fries and a bowl with vegan tuna, which I didn‘t try though. I had the Pout Pink Persia, which were again very tasty.

Pommes gehen immer - Edit

Super yummy! - Edit
Delicious vegan food! We tried the "Rainbow Bowl" and the "Bolofritten". We each also ordered another portion of "Hausfritten" (normal fries), one with vegan mayo and one with guacamole but the first two were more than enough for us.

Pros: Ein paar vegane Optionen
Cons: Zu fettig und zu teuer

Tasty and quickly served - Edit
This busy branch in the main station with Frittenwerk's first additional to go counter opened in February 2020. There are a number of vegan options on the menu and most of the dips are vegan. The pink persia poutine is also vegan since recently because the recipe of the lemon aioli has been changed. The "Bolofritten" served with a slice of lime were super delicious and were handed out within 5 minutes after ordering by the friendly and well organized staff.
