Fried Dough-Dumpling

Ingredients

2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking power
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 tablespoon sunflower oil
1/2 - 1 cup water
pinch of sea salt
oil for frying

Instructions

In a bowl combine all the dry ingredients with oil and water (little at a time), and mix until dough forms.

Cover and leave to rest for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into 8 balls, and flatten.

Heat a pan with enough oil to fry. Fry in batches of 3. Turn once golden brown and puffed.

Once cooked, place fried dough-dumpling on paper towel to soak up excess oil.
