Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I have severe food allergies (not an intolerance - true food allergies as in having to carry 2 Epi-pens and Benadryl) to several major food groups: Dairy (and dairy by-products), seafood (anaphylaxis), shellfish (anaphylaxis), and eggs. Due to my allergies, it's just easier to eat vegan.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
..I might possibly be the only straight edge vegan in Morgantown, WV..maybe there are others? I've always used HappyCow to find places I can eat when I travel.
