More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
All the reasons, well, most of the reasons, well a great many reasons (some folks are VERY creative at finding more reasons than I had ever considered).
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
My friend Phyllis is a member.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
http://Maynard.Clark.GooglePages.com - to link to ALL the blogs on the Internet called (at the same time) "Maynard's Veggie and Boston Blog." Oh, you mean PLACES ON THE PLANET? If you're traveling with me, I'd consider nearly anywhere...
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
broccoli
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
I watch 24 twice every week; whatcha say we urge the producers to make Chloe O'Brien a vegetarian, even a vegan? You know, I was involved in Steve Karian's "letter writing" project to get Matt Groening of "The Simpsons" to make the Lisa Simpson character to go vegetarian, and that worked. Perhaps EVERY TV show should have a host of vegetarian characters? How ELSE will TV viewers learn that being vegan and vegetarian is NORMAL?
