Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I first watched The Cove in 2010 and made the decision to become vegetarian. I always had the intention to become fully vegan and made many failed attempts, but in April 2014 I decided enough was enough and embraced veganism. It was the single best decision I have ever made. It forced me to learn to cook, I have never been in better health, and I have a clear conscience that my dinner doesn't cost an innocent animal their life.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I have always used HappyCow, especially while traveling, and to be honest I don't know why I didn't join the community sooner!

Vegan Life magazine is one of my favourites. In terms of movies the most personally influential have been The Cove, Blackfish, Cowspiracy, Food Inc, and Earthlings.
