More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

i wanted to become vegetarian from a very young age, but as i got older, and realized that it struck me a kind of compromise, like, "in order to not be socially construed as a radical extremist", so i did more research into being vegan, did more research on animal treatment, and just couldn't bring myself to consume anything obtained from animals through manipulation, maltreatment and abuse after that again, and here i am: vegan, going on 5 years.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

was looking for a safe place with access to like-minded people.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

i've traveled all over throughout my life, and i really want to keep traveling as long as i live. am pretty restless, and my love of travel is only second to my love of food, music and fiction (all of which are the reason i continue to breathe, lol). have been to europe, america, england, and bits of asia. want to travel to australia, africa and visit more places in asia. would love to live for maximum 3 years in any given place for the rest of my life.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

chuck most of any kind of fruit or fruit in my direction (with the exception of anything that reeks), and i will most probably consume it happily. i LOVE eggplant, broccoli, corn, mushrooms, red chillies, apples, pears, pineapples, berries and anything sweet or savory or spicy :D
