More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
It's all about the animals. Feeling better, looking younger, and simply being healthier for it is the cherry on top.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I travel quite a bit, all over the world. I remember HappyCow when it was just starting up. It's wonderful to see how comprehensive, educational, and popular it has become. For me, it's always my traveling companion.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I really loved Tokyo, Japan. Via HappyCow, we found some rather unusual, unique vegan cafes. What a great experience. I would love to return. Someday, I hope to see Finland and New Zealand.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Faux buffalo drumsticks at Red Bamboo in NY, the Rolo wrap at Eden in Scranton PA, the chicken fingers at Real Food Daily in LA, anything from Vegan Treats in Bethlehem. At home, a massive green salad filled with a huge variety of veggies, mushrooms, olives, seeds, & brewers yeast. Hummus and falafel are a staple too. So indulgent.
