Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I have been predominately vegetarian for 30 years but have recently become vegan for health reasons (to stop eating dairy produce), and for environmental reasons (over fishing, environment degradation through meat and dairy production.)

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Vegan pho, Vietnamese spring rolls, Ottolenghis roasted cauliflower with hazlenuts, asparagus risotto, raw vegan pad thai, raw vegan sushi rolls, corn tacos with black bean refried beans and chipotle chilli sauce, dhal and gobi aloo saag, puri with tamarind chutney, miso soup with tofu and seaweed, chickpeas with rosemary and pasta.
