More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
For the environment initially, but now, as I learn more, the animals.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Denver, lots of young, hip, alternative plant based entrepreneurs. Because rent is relatively affordable, the barriers to entry don't seem so formidable. Wonderful cultural offerings also, without a hoard of tourists one might find in NYC or LA. My favorite is the Botanical Garden on York Street. Beet Box on 22nd Avenue is a vegan bakery serving sandwiches and beautiful pastries that omnis don't even realize are plant based. NOOCH is a vegan grocery store and vegan hub for many vegan events. Joshua and Vanessa, the owners are wonderful people.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Miyoko Schinner's massaged kale salad, BBQ yuba ribs, cashew Brie. All things Miyoko in a nutshell.
