- I have been vegan for over 2 years. I switched to veganism from the complete opposite (ate anything basically) after doing a raw food cleanse for almost 2 weeks, I felt so great and learned so much - about health and animals, that I never wanted to go back to animal products, so I became vegan! People often question vegan options in Vegas but there are sooo many and there's a great vegan community there. This year, I moved back to the Bay Area, and of course, California is vegan heaven :D Although my childhood was in Mountain View, CA, I really grew up (after that) in Mexico City, where I visit often to see my friends and family, so you may notice a few entries from there too ;)
