Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
One day I watched a short clip about the dairy industry and how they take the newborn calf away from its mother right after birth. I remember seeing the mother cow trying to get to her baby and it hurt my heart. After researching I realized that I don't need to include animal products in my diet to be healthy.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I love to eat out and Vegan restaurants are in very short supply where I live. I like the app so I can search for places to eat.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I love Europe and my favorite county to visit is Italy. In the future I want to travel to South America and Canada.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Black eye peas, rice and collard greens! I'm a Southern girl!
