Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

To humbly network with more experienced vegans and learn from them. It's been our lonely experience that we often feel like the only persons practicing a vegan diet in southeast Michigan.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Paris and the south of France, the Hawaiian Islands, Rome, Siena, Florence, Venice, London, Edinburg, Dublin, Amsterdam, Salsbury Plain (Stonehenge), Barcelona, the Dalmation Coast, Innsbruck, Munich, Key West, Quebec, the Yucatan, Ostia, and Pompeii.

All Mediterranean cuisine that omits animal ingredients (plentiful here in Dearborn), all good artisan breads, old fashioned succotash, good quality soy-based ice-creams, roast vegetables/potatoes Provence.
