More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I'm vegan because it's way healthy and because the way meat, dairy and eggs are produced is unconscionably cruel. that being said, if i were able to keep a pet chicken (or cow/goat for that matter) i'd have no problem with that kind of dairy or eggs, it's just about the horrible places those things come from that keep them off my plate.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
after becoming vegan i needed to know where i could get food besides my own kitchen
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I haven't really traveled that much, but New Orleans was pretty cool, and the Minneapolis/St.Paul area is really nice.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
TVP burgers, hummus, cashew cheese and other things that are easy and i can make myself. i try to avoid packaged fake meats whenever i can and just eat real looking foods or make my own fake meats/cheeses.
