Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I am a dedicated vego (just on thirty years), would love to be fully vegan, am on the way. Like to ensure that I 'eat raw' at least some of the time. I don't like to impact on the planet any more than I have too - meat is a HUGE footprint. Also the ethics of what I eat was a big decider for me. We raised our three children as "veggies" from birth.

Books - anything by Peter Singer. 'vegie food' - lovely little book publilshed by Murdoch Books. Movie choice 'Serenity' - after watching 'Firefly' series. (not even a full season, sad!) Magazine - Organic Growing (let's all grow some veggies).
