About:
After years of thinking "I should really be a vegetarian", I finally managed to do it. I'm vegan as much as possible, but travel a lot for my work in the aviation field. This website is a great help for me when I'm on the road.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

The Spiral Bakery in Ft Worth Healthway in Vero Beach (it's okay--no produce, but about the best I can find in a small city like Vero) There are a number of places in D.C. I hope to try in the near future as I tend to go there for meetings fairly frequently. Also will have to look in Atlanta.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

"Earthlings"DVD--you can get this from PETA or isawearthlings.com "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell, PhD "The Food Revolution" by John Robbins (I picked this up at the Spiral Bakery)
