Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
The main reason I prefer to eat vegetarian is for health. My family stopped eating meat after watching "Frankensteer",about Canadian beef. (Food INC is very American). We did not want to subject our children to antibiotics and growth hormones found in all meat products. The more we learned the more we stopped eating meat and reducing all animal products for compassionate reasons.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
We moved to Europe where large quantities of meat are on every menu. We needed a simple way to locate healthy vegetarian options while we were travelling.
