More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Because I love animals! And I think it's good manners not to kill the things you love.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
HappyCow saved my life (or at least my sanity) while I was overseas in Barcelona. So I wanted to give back to the community and help other travellers with tips and suggestions.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
All time favorite restaurants: Harmony Vegetarian (Atlanta), Red Bamboo (NYC), Madeleine's (Los Angeles), Soul Vegetarian (everywhere!)
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Morningstar Chik'n Strips, Tofutti Cheese Slices, Amy's Scramble Tofu Pockets, Chocolate Silk Soymilk, Gardenburger Black Bean Chipotle Burgers,
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Mike White's "Year of the Dog" is a great movie to get your friends talking/thinking about animal rights issues
