Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I became vegan mostly for health reasons, but I now appreciate the ethical and environmental reasons as well.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I want to meet like-minded people and discover good plant food!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I haven't had the opportunity to do much traveling, but I'd love to go to Colorado, Arizona, Hawaii, Thailand, Japan, India...
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
oatmeal, sweet potatoes, fruit of any and every variety :)
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Besides Harry Potter? Well, of course the classics...How Not to Die, the China Study, the Starch Solution, etc. Some of my favorites include the Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls, Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier, The Client by John Grisham, Wild by Cheryl Strayed...
