More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

Simply put, its just my way of saying a small "[email protected] You" to the Meat Industry. The slightly longer version: By being vegetarian I am conciously making a choice about the way I live. I am choosing to reduce my contribution to the disgusting treatment of animals by the meat industry (and am reaping the benefits of having a healthier, and more varied diet than that of many meat-eaters). Next step: lose the cheese and eggs - vegan.

The members here seem so open and accepting. People bring up valuable, and interesting topics/ideas and people's comments seem to be helpful, well thought out and inteligently put.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I love Tamil Nadu and Kerala in Southern India - a non meat-eaters paradise! Wishlist: Latin America, Russia, the States, the Pacific Islands, e.g. Samoa etc (Basically every country I haven't been to)...

My home-made faves are Lentil Curry, Tofu Burgers with the works, Bean and avocado Salad and Corn fritters.
