Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
For the animals, for the environment, and for my personal health.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To connect more with vegan/vegetarian community. To share veg-friendly places around my city and places I travel, and to also discover new ones along the way!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Asheville, Charelston, Savannah, Charlottesville, Boston, New York City, Cape Cod, Austin, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, Key West.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Avocado sushi, chia pudding, and veggie pizza.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Forks Over Knives, The 30-Minute Vegan, and Chloe's Kitchen. If you're into YouTube, I recommend the following to watch for great recipes: Edgy Veg, Vegan Family TV, Liv's Healthy Life, Supreme Banana, High Carb Hannah, Vegan Kid TV, and Cheap Lazy Vegan.
