More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I don't believe in inflicting harm or suffering on other living creatures unnecessarily, especially when there are many alternative options available for fulfilling our nutritional needs that are cruelty-free and sustainable. Furthermore, I believe want food I consume significantly affects my own personal sense of well-being: I feel and look my best when I follow a plant-based diet

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I'm always looking for new restaurants and stores that support a healthy, balanced way of living. I believe this community will allow me to connect with like-minded people who share my interest in finding delicious vegan food.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

I love my hometown, Asheville NC, which is an absolute mecca for vegan and vegetarian cuisine. Another one of my favorite places in the world is Sussex, England, which has beautiful countryside and seasons. I enjoy Cork, Ireland and hope to visit Dingle and Galway in the near future. I also want to visit India, Antarctica, and Scotland.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Lara Bars, especially Blueberry Muffin; UliMana truffles and Fig Lemon Drops; anything at Plant Restaurant in Asheville, NC; green superfood drinks; green apples; and I absolutely love raw almond butter.
