Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I fasted under medical supervision for 30 days in 2001, with supervised re-feeding for 15 days on juices, raw organic fruits and vegetables. The intervening lectures, videotapes and dvd programs convinced me that this practice is not only for personal health, but will save the planet if enough people get the idea.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Before getting to a new city, it is good to know where the vegetarian restaurants are located, especially if few and far between. Between disaster and delight, I strongly prefer the latter!
