More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Mainly my love of animals, secondary to that is I am a Nutritionist and believe in the power of whole plant-based foods, then care of the environment :)
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I found the website so unbelievably helpful when I was overseas - especially in Japan! and I wanted to help other travellers like they had helped me, so I joined :)
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Oh wayyy too many to list! My favourites I've been to include Japan, New Zealand, Canada, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania.. Would love to see more of Asia and South America.. Number one on my travel list is India!!!

I JUST LOVE ALL FOOD!!! I love Thai-inspired foods.. raw desserts and sweets.. a great mocha... oh just everything!
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
My favourite move is 'Almost Famous'... My favourite magazines are Peppermint - Australian Eco-Friendly fashion mag; Frankie mag, Chickpea - a vegan magazine. Favourite book is a hard one.. there are many I love... I love true stories.. Marching Powder.. The Shantaram.. and tons of recipe books! 'The Vegan Cookbook' by Adele McConnell is my favourite at the moment - she is my inspiration!!
