Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Choosing veganism for me was one of the best decisions I have every made, and one that will stay with me for ever. As opposed to vegetarian, being vegan also removes myself the world of dairy farming and other inhumane methods of manipulating animals.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
I joined Happy Cow in order to help me find good places to eat whilst traveling. As a reviewer of restaurants, I am also able to help in return and assist others in their quest.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
One of the most powerful books I have ever read is called 'Speciesism' by Joan Dunayer. It puts forth the argument about animal rights and how in every day life, speciesism is around us everywhere. It's a very engaging read and one which helps support my understanding of veganism.
