In the scheme of things, it seems like my actions have no consequence to the ways of the universe. But on the flipside, I could smile to a random stranger, who is brightened by my random act of kindness, who then does something to someone else, until the chain reaction reaches its ultimate goal of world peace, which my smile was directly responsible for :)
