Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I am a nutritarian, with the firm belief that I eat to live, not the other way around.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I joined because I often times travel and it is nice to have access to recommendations on places that have already been tried and tested by others who think and live according to similar principles as I do.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

Fresh apples from the tree, grapes,etc, etc.. I pretty much like anything fresh and organic, as long as it is a fruit or a vegetable..:))

Dr. Joel Fuhrman: Eat to Live is the best book on healthy nutrition I've ever read! Yet to read The China Study by Colin Campbell, but I'm sure it will be a similarly enlightening read!
