Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
Health. Don't like cruelty to animals. Also just have always hated meat.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
Traveling! Finding actual food in new places can be tough. Happy Cow has made London a whole new city this time round, and many US cities as well. I do need to contribute more though.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Zia's in Towson MD is my family's favorite for quick excellent raw, vegan and kid's meals. Eying a few well-reviewed spots in London right now.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I'm pretty basic. Pomegranates have made life awesome this summer, and raw lasagna is my family's favorite.

Book: Raw food on a budget. Incredibly helpful especially in winter months.
