Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
I've been a vegetarian since 1998. I just became a vegan in 2010. I loved Skinny Bitch. I have a huge heart for animals and I cannot imagine going back to eating them ever.

My hubs and I use happy cow all the time, especially when we are travelling across the U.S. Just thought I might be able to offer some insight as well since I've gained so much from reading other's posts.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Loved Costa Rica. Need to go back and see the tropical side of it and scuba dive. We were in the Guanacaste region, which is dry, and we went scuba diving in the Pacific. Cool to see live seahorses in their habitat but very murky water.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
Some of my favorites are: Quinoa/Kale salad, quinoa noodle and kale macaroni and "cheeze", tofu scramble and spaghetti pie. We cook all of it.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
Favorite book of all time: Count of Monte Cristo. Love to read Psychology Today.
