More About Me

Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I love everything our beautiful planet has to offer and I will do my best to leave a small footprint as long as I'm here.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I love to travel. Happy Cow is an awesome way to find good food while on the road.

Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:

Orlando, Florida; Lake Winnipesaukee, Moultonborough, New Hampshire; Washington, D.C.; Pemigewasset River, Lincoln, New Hampshire; Pine River Pond, Wakefield, New Hampshire; Manchester, Vermont; Ice Castles, Lincoln, New Hampshire; more to come.

Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:

My two favorite dishes that I can find locally are orange seitan from Veggie Fun in Providence, RI and tofu BLT with avocado from the Garden Grille in Pawtucket, RI.

Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:

Mayim's Vegan Table was my first cookbook and is still my favorite. I've also read most of Virginia Messina's Vegan for Her and I have my own signed copy of Dr. Michael Greger's How Not to Die.
