More About Me
Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
The initial impetus for my going vegan was environmental factors, but the health benefits also showed up pretty quickly. I am also happy about the reduction of my contribution to animal welfare issues. Interestingly, I've noticed now that I do not crave animal based foods at all, and I find the smell of cooking meat quite off putting (esp bacon and sausages that I used to really like).
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
To let me post new places I find, and provide reviews and updates of places I visit. I find Happy Cow really helpful, and I like to give back.
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
I've been lucky to be able to visit London, Paris, Berlin, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam in the last few years and enjoyed them all. I've got to eat fantastic vegan food in some amazing places (thanks to Happy Cow). I'd love to visit Africa, and South America as well.
