Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:

I started this for a couple of years and I find that being a vegetarian has so many advantages. I simply can't resist it. By abstaining from meat, I: 1)avoid the killing of animals. (I don't need to take animal lives in order to sustain my own life) 2)play my part in alleviating global warming (raising animals for food produces more greenhouse gas emissions than growing plants. Plus, animals uses enormous amounts of land, water, graind and fuel.) 3)am healthier.

I joined HappyCow Members Community because:

I joined the community so that I can write reviews to benefit other people, just like how the website has benefited me. Initially, I check out this site as I find it very handy. It shows me where I can get vegetarian food at my place (Johor Bahru) and also other places (when I go travelling). I must say, it's the website with the most comprehensive lists of vegetarian restaurants that I have ever come across. Good job!
